
André Choulika, Ph.D., founder of Cellectis SA, has served as Chief Executive Officer since the company's inception. Dr. Choulika is a pioneer in the analysis and use of Meganucleases to modify complex genomes. He has made many of the critical observations in the field and is an author of the most significant patents on the use of Meganucleases in vivo. Dr. Choulika received a Ph.D. in Molecular Virology form University of Paris VI / Institut Pasteur. Dr. Choulika has made post-doctoral studies at the Harvard Medical School within the department of Molecular Medicine of Boston's Children's Hospital.

David J.D. Sourdive, Ph.D., co-founded Cellectis SA with Dr Choulika, and has served as Director since 2000. Prior to inception of the company, Dr Sourdive was the head of Biotechnology Laboratory at the Centre d'Etudes du Bouchet (French Ministry of Defense). At the same time, Dr Sourdive was heading a research group in Immunology at the Pasteur Institute. Dr. Sourdive attended Ecole Polytechnique and received a Ph.D. in Molecular Virology form University of Paris VII/ Institut Pasteur. Dr Sourdive then applied recombination tracking technologies to anti-viral immune memory, at the Emory University Vaccine Center in Atlanta.

Frédéric Pâques, Ph.D., joined Cellectis in October 2001. He has served as Chief Scientific Officer since June 2002. Dr. Pâques is a world expert in DNA recombination mechanisms. He received his Ph. D. in 1994 from University of Paris. Dr Pâques joined Brandeis University (Waltham, Ma), where he produced seminal work on recombination in yeast, before being appointed to the CNRS in Paris (France).

Marc Le Bozec, joined Cellectis in October 2006. He was Chief Operating Officer of Alfact Innovation (France). He has more than 10 years experience in the biotech sector as consultant (Arthur D. Little, Paris office) and as founder and Chairman & CEO of BioProtein Technologies (France), a biotech company dedicated to the production of recombinant proteins in the milk of transgenic animals. He is graduated from HEC School of Management, Paris.

Dirk Pollet, Ph.D., with Cellectis since November 2008 as executive consultant for Dircs bvba. Prior to starting his own consultancy business Dircs bvba, he was Senior Vice President Licensing & IP at Galapagos NV in Belgium and member of the Executive Team. Prior to joining Galapagos NV in 2000, Dr. Pollet was Director Molecular Diagnostics at Glaxo Welcome in Stevenage UK. Prior to Glaxo Welcome he started and build the diagnostics group at Innogenetics NV where he stayed for fourteen years. Dirk Pollet holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Antwerp.

Delphine Jay, joined Cellectis in January 2001. She started her career in the optical industry. Delphine Jay joined the Head Office of an architectural firm to set up the administrative and financial management. After a year at MCI Worldcom as quantity surveyor in charge of international data centers construction, Delphine Jay joined Cellectis.

Sylvie Delassus joined Cellectis in September 2009 as Senior Vice President Communications.
Since 2000, Sylvie Delassus has served as communications manager in different companies in the healthcare environment, including Institut Pasteur, Aventis and Afsset.
Sylvie Delassus is a graduate from Ecole Polytechnique and received a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from University of Paris VI/ Institut Pasteur. Dr Delassus then studied the differentiation pathways of hematopoietic stem cells at the Institut Pasteur and at the Institute of Cancer Research in London.

Philippe Duchateau, Ph.D., joined Cellectis in April 2001. He has leaded the Research department since 2004.
Dr. Duchateau received a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from University of Lille / Institut Pasteur. Dr Duchateau joined the Cardiovascular research Institute at the University of California, San Francisco in 1993 and spent 9 years (1993-2001) working on reverse cholesterol transport mechanism.

Aymeric Duclert, Ph.D., joined Cellectis in January 2005. He was director of the Bioinformatic platform Genomic-Info at INRA, a partner of the Genoplante public-private consortium. Before that, he held diverse positions in bioinformatics at the biotechnology company Genset. He graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique and holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Paris VI University.

Jean-Charles Epinat, received his Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Genetics from University of Paris after working on the regulation of transcription factor at the Institut Pasteur. He then spent 3 years as a postdoctoral fellow at Boston University. He joined Cellectis at the very beginning of the company and developed selection and screening methods based on meganuclease activity in yeast that are used today.
