Cellectis distinguished with the Research Company of Year 2005 Award

Romainville, France - November the 3^rd - Yesterday, Cellectis was distinguished with the Research Company of Year 2005 Award. This award from "Le Nouvel Economiste", in collaboration with the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry of "Ile-de-France", was been given to Cellectis SA. It recognizes the great achievements of Cellectis in terms of research and development, technological success as well as the far-sighted industrial strategy of the company.

André Choulika, Cellectis' President & Chief Executive Officer commented: "This award is a great honor for us. Prestigious and competitive companies were distinguished with this prize in the past, and Cellectis is very pleased and proud to receive it this year." He added: "This award honors the collective outstanding achievement of all the company's team. 15 years of world class research at Institut Pasteur allowed the foundation of Cellectis' business concept as a spin-off in 2000. This business model, based on genome engineering, was fostered by Cellectis for the first time in the world. The award committee recognized the outstanding achievements of Cellectis' R&D in this very competitive field that our company is leading today."
